Last day of the year! What have I done today? Let's see..
Awake around 12++pm.. Woo the past two days I've slept less than 5 hrs per day.. o.o!
Then look around, ya look around inside my room, for like 15 mins? Cant remember... LOL.
Then went in audi, woo? wander around for like 20 mins? Then came out, read news online? actually not really reading..LOL! Then went to read the real newspaper! ...
Now think of it, a new year, a new beginning, a new start, and new resolution? LOL!
IS it really coming to me? I dont noe... Can you tell me? ya you, dont turn away. LOL.. maybe you leaving me once school starts? Well you probably will go back to your orginial life? Yup where you supposed to go/stay. Mixed feelings for me, well i may noe the answer soon once school restart for you...

Saving Your Laptop after a SpillWater, coffee, and soda are among your laptop's worst enemies. Just a little bit of such a liquid on your laptop keyboard can damage or destroy your machine or cause you to lose data.
Some laptops are more vulnerable to damage from a spill on the keyboard than others, and it doesn't always have anything to do with the price tag. Some keyboards have a thin rubber membrane beneath the keys with electrical contacts molded right into little domes under each letter; that design may feel squishy and cheap to some users, but it stands up better to a splash or a flood than a more traditional design with springs and exposed contacts. How do you know which type of design you have? Take a look for yourself by prying off a keytop; if you're shopping, you may be able to get the information from the manufacturer or a dealer.
The best way to prevent damage from a mix of liquid and electronics is to keep them as far apart as possible. Keep your laptop far away from cups of coffee, glasses of water, and cans of soda.
But in the real world, stuff happens. If you have a choice of poisons, take the water spill. A hot cup of coffee, a cold glass of soda, or a glass of wine are each bad news; all of them are slightly acidic. Acidic liquids are nastier than nearly neutral water because the acid can corrode metal contacts. And both coffee and soda can become gummy and sticky as they dry.
Here's the drill for an emergency recovery from a spill:
1. If you have your machine plugged into wall current, turn off the power at the circuit breaker in your home or office.
You don't want to touch a wet wire carrying 110 volts or so.
If you're running the machine on battery power, it's still operating, and you don't see sparks, hear odd noises, or smell burnt electrical components, shut your laptop down through the normal Windows process.
If something is obviously wrong with the machine, turn it off immediately by depressing the Off switch or by removing the battery.
2. Ground yourself by touching the center screw on the faceplate of a dry electrical outlet or by touching some other metal object that reaches to ground.
3. If you haven't done so in emergency mode, remove the AC adapter and the battery, and set them aside.
4. Disconnect any external devices (such as a mouse) attached to the USB, FireWire, serial, or other ports.
5. If you find any liquid on the battery or AC adapter, wipe them carefully and set them aside.
If your spill has thoroughly soaked the AC adapter or the battery, you probably need to consider it a loss. You can get replacement AC adapters and batteries from various sources, including the original equipment manufacturer, laptop accessory companies, and the used market.
6. Remove any cards installed in the PC Card slot.
If they're wet, carefully dry them off. If any water has gotten into the narrow slot, dry out the area with a cotton swab, taking care not to leave any threads of cotton in the internal connector.
7. Wipe off any liquid on the display.
Use a clean cloth dampened with water to remove any sticky residue.
8. Remove the hard drive and the CD/DVD drives if you have them installed in plug-in bays.
Dry them off if they're wet. Set them aside.
9. Open the memory module container; remove and dry the memory modules.
Make notes on the placement of the modules. Set them aside.
10. Hand-dry the keyboard surface with a lint-free cloth.
If you spill soda or coffee, consult the instruction manual for your computer and learn how to carefully remove each of the keycaps for the affected area. If the instruction manual includes a picture of the keyboard, make sure that you can see the names of all the keys and their locations; otherwise, make a drawing of the board, paying special attention to the location of some of the specialized keys, including cursor keys, Page Up, Page Down, Scroll Lock, and the like. Or you can use a digital camera to take a picture of the keyboard.
11. Clean the exposed membrane or switch cover and the keys themselves.
Leave the keys to dry before replacing them.
12. Leaving the display open, place the computer on a sturdy surface supported by two books or small boxes.
This setup lets air circulate all around the computer. Leave the computer and all of its separate parts to air dry for at least 24 hours. Don't use a fan or (horrors) a hair dryer to attempt to fast-forward the drying process.
13. Reassemble the pieces that you removed.
Do this step a day or more after doing Step 1 through Step 12, and make sure that everything is dry and that you don't have any dried puddles of sticky acid left anywhere on the machine. Remember to ground yourself before touching any circuitry or modules, and begin the power-up process with the battery first and the AC adapter second.
If in doubt about the safety of any part, you should go ahead and replace it instead of using it. Replacing a battery, an AC adapter, or even a hard disk drive always costs a lot less than replacing a motherboard.

WOOOHOO!! MY 100 Post !!!! Weeee Weee. LOL!!
Sian ah today woke early to attend a exhibition in school. Zzzz Ya its on eco-city stuffs, show casing those environment friendly products, like solar clothes dryer(using solar enegry from the sun to dry the clothes),biogas stove( using our waste products as fuel to cook), photoelectric cells on the HBD flats( to trap solar enegry during daytime, so that at night the solar enegry can be used for electricity. LOL), mrt in an air tube( LOL? jus like a tunnel bah, so that the amount of CO2 released into the air will be greatly reduced), and another interesting thing is most of the products are made of bamboo, because it brings a cooling effect, and bamboo is renewable wor. LOL
Haha so much crap above..LOL. o.o! It took about 20 to 30 mins to finish the exhibition. Then went to jurong point walked with isaac. Haha.. Everything jus look no buy. ><.. LOL! Lalalala...

Yeah post early today. OMG! Want to know why the connection so slow? Haha.. It's because of the earthquake in tawain which caused disruptions to the undersea cables, which results in slow internet access to some sites, but mostly to overseas sites.
And in regard to the earthquake in tawain last night, 2 ppl were killed and at least 42 ppl were injured. There were one large quake, with a magnitude of 7.1, and a series of smaller ones, woth 5.2,5.5,and 6.4 magnitude.
HistoryTawain, which lies near the junction of two tectonic plats, is regularly shaken by earthquakes. The country's worst, a 7.6 magnitude quake, killed some 2400 ppl in Sep 1999
The latest quakes came two years to the day after a massive 9.3 magnitude quake off the coast of Indonesia see off massive tsunamis that battered countries around the region, leaving around 220000 ppl dead. It was one of the worst natural disasters in recorded history.
After the tawain quakes, there's danger of destructive tsunami around the region area, but to relief the dnager has passed after the agency in tokyo measured one metre of possible of a destructive tsunami after the tawain quake.

Actually he was sent like 1 day or 2 days ago, and because my sister knew it when grandmother called and didnt tell the rest of us, now my mum was angry wif her bah.. LOL

Ahha sian.. 3 hrs of sleep before going to school to attend the dispensary workshop. o.o! Well starting ahaha.. entered wrong class.. LOL.. Didnt checked my name outside the class. o.o! Then went to my assigned class.. LOL.. Well dispense medicine.. LOL.
Do gain valuable knowledge on dispensing medicine, reading the codes that those doctors write everyday, and have roleplay, er... i dunnoe thats lame a not, we jus intervene those prescibtion to them, then thats all, and also write the those labels that stick on medicine de, ya we were taught how to write that.. LOL.

It mentions how dangerous this drink is. And from my friend, he went to do some experiement on coca cola, by placing a drop out teeth and put into the coke overnight.
Next day the teeth was gone. This shows how acidic coke is. And people who drink like 2 litres of coke straight, some die immediately. LOL. It's truth man. No joke. Haf fun reading, and drink more coke, except me. Bleah...

Today really had a bad start. Again not feeling well, and worse of all, another stupid person jumped onto the mrt railway again, this time is at yishun. -_-!
Is it so fun to jump onto the railway? To people out there who wanted to die, please find another dying method, dont stop or waste other people time. Zzzz...
Today's lesson quite headache ah =X Plus blocking nose and starting to feel the heat, I cant even absorb what's today lesson is talking about. -_-! Tough day..
then before went to the today's trip to toa payoh polyclinic briefing, went to one of my classmates hostel behind the school. Haha he just moved in, and the whole apartment belong to him, for now. LOL. Well it's clean lah, then i tried to make it dirty. =X Then had to rush to the library for the briefing.
Third meeting presentation had to debate. LOL. Sia i dont have any points to debate, LMAO. so in the end I just counter-back the opposition questions only. -_-!
Then finally the trip to the polyclinic. -_-! So messy la, dont even know where to find the student leader of my team, until a while then found her. o.o! So messy.. no organization sia. LOL. =X Then aboard a lao ya bus to tao payoh polyclinic. o.o!
After reached there, suddenly rain so heavily, and damn, part of the link to the polyclinic had no shelter. So you all should know what happened. Zzz.. Then went around within the part of the pahramcy, where you took your medicine area. Tour around, also went behind the counter where the medicine were prescribed for the patients.
After all those tour, well it took only around 45 minutes. -_-! Then we were released. LOL. Went to have dinner with so friends.(ok is isaac and tuck hong)
Well when on the way back home, the mrt train suddenly stopped again. -_-! And me and tuck hong had to alight at yishun mrt station. OMG! the cursed station. =X

Hehe finally changed my blogskin. Say goodbye to my old skin, and welcome the new one. ^o^ Ha this is nightmare before christmas skin. Not bad right? Muhahaha all tio nightmare... yeah... well i wont tio one so dont worry. Hehe. See spent my time changing my blog skin, havent even done my reflection journal. -_-! Well i forgot the question le, later then go see what's the question ask.
Haha today again on differenation... second derivative wor.. sian... o.o! Quite a few classmates ponteng after second meeting. Of course I wont pontebg de, see I so guai.. =X Then merge with another group wor.. Haha one of my team-mate tio caught explaining to the rest of the team-mate, so in the end he was called up to present the sixth presentation. Haha.. ^^
Today just excahnged part of kian yong one piece comics back to him, and took the rest of the series. LOL. Well holidays coming mah, have to prepare to read. Hehe. and also bought prince of tennis book 35 and speed grapher 3. ^o^Waa sia.. nearly burned my pocket. >< And tml have to go for the activity "an insight to outpatient pharmacy" at toa payoh polyclinic pharmcy. Hope it will be fun. Have to attend briefing tml during lunch break. Haiz.. the trip would probably end around 6++pm.. =X

Today slept whole day wor... -_-!!! Ok i read from today's newspaper and saw a small article on yesterday mrt incident at admirtly. To my horror, they reported that there was a body found on the tracks at admirtly. -_-! LOL.
So that's why the train at admirtly cannot moved. Lmao.. Kura, didnt you notice a body in front of you? Waa freaky.. Luckily my train terminated at woodlands yesterday and didnt got the chance to see the body. =X
Haiz.. tml still have UT. Zz.. 2 more days... tuesday will be a damn long day. Wed faster come la. =X Holidays.. Hurray.. LOL..

Wow finally pull through for this week. Just two more school days, and holidays.. Weee.. ^o^ Now thinking of my grades, it's quite poor bah, for this semester, since i pon so many days. Well have to work damn hard for the UT. Today done my module selection for next year semester 1 modules. Ya of course select the standard package.
Haha... Also have to chiong CE liao... this semester didnt really attend lots of talks or workshop, compare to last semester la..
Ya tiring week, have to recharge leh.. next mon have cognitive UT.. =X have to work hard.. LOL..
Hahaha hope tml just stay at home slack the whole, that will be so shiok wor.. =X
